Meet the Florist
Sophia Qashqai would pick flowers along trails and bring her mother tiny bouquets as a child. These early moments became the foundation of her most instinctive creative outlet: fleuriiish.
Sustainability has always guided her life, and those same values shape fleuriiish. Her work blends modern Ikebana principles with a commitment to intentional design and responsible practice.
Our Inspiration
The Art of Japanese Ikebana
Ikebana, meaning “to give life to flowers,” is the Japanese art of floral arrangement where every stem embodies balance, emotion, and movement.
Traditional Ikebana follows three guiding elements: the Shin, symbolizing heaven; Soe, representing humanity; and Hikae, grounding the composition as earth. Together, they create harmony, transforming into a living work of art.
At fleuriiish, we reinterpret these principles through a modern lens. Our approach blends the elegance of Ikebana with refined, contemporary design.

Our Mission
fleuriiish is a sustainable Toronto-based floral art studio redefining how spaces feel and are remembered through unconventional floral design. We see flowers as a form of creative expression, transforming ordinary spaces into meaningful experiences.
For cafés, studios, boutiques, and brands that see their space not just as a place, but as an atmosphere to be felt. fleuriiish creates impressions that last long after the stems fade.
